Buy.com Product Submissions
- You submit product content to Buy.com through the CommerceInterface platform.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of product content and will bear the shipping costs associated with misrepresented or defective item issues.
- Once approved, you can list products on Buy.com's marketplace.
- Your Listings will expire after 30 days if a sale has not been made and inventory not updated. CommerceInterface will submit updated inventory on your behalf every 30 days.
- You must adhere to image (650 x 650 pixels minimum) and copy requirements.
- You are responsible for maintaining inventory for products being sold on Buy.com.
- You can adjust inventory quantities manually or automatically via the CommerceInterface platform.
Buy.com Pricing
- There are no monthly fees for listing your products on Buy.com.
- When a product is sold, you pay Buy.com a commission of $.99 per item plus a percentage of the product price. There is a minimum of $.99 paid to Buy.com for each order you sell.

Buy.com Customer Support
- Buy.com's ecommerce services marketplace automatically sends emails to customers to confirm orders, shipment and cancellation/refunds as well as to request customer feedback. In an effort to keep all communication with Buy.com customers consistent, they require that you remove order confirmation, shipment confirmation and feedback follow-up emails from your communication.
- Buy.com marketplace will send these emails to their customers in all cases. This is a requirement to remain active selling with them.
- Buy.com marketplace will send all shipping emails but ask that all suppliers work directly with Buy.com buyers to resolve any customer service issues. When communicating with Buy.com customers, ensure there are no links to your website or requests to visit your website in your customer service communication.
Buy.com Product Order Payment
Buy.com processes all credit card transactions and absorbs the cost of the associated processing fees. They also assume order fraud liability risk.

Buy.com Shipping Solutions
- Customers expect great service and the Buy.com Buyer Guarantee, which ensures they receive their orders as promised. You may be required to submit proof of shipment if a buyer makes a guarantee claim.
- You must ship all orders in packaging that is secure enough to minimize the chance of damage during shipping. Both the shipping address and the return address must be printed legibly on every package. Every package must also include the packing slip, which you can export from the CommerceInterface platform.
- You are required to ship all products via a standard shipping method with a level of service at least equal to U.S. Postal Service Media Mail. Shipments sent via standard shipping are expected to arrive in the buyer's hands within 4-14 business days from the date of purchase.
- You can offer buyers expedited shipping. If a buyer selects expedited shipping, the order must arrive within 3-6 business days from the shipment date.
- NOTE: You cannot include marketing or promotional information regarding your company with any order shipped on behalf of Buy.com.
- You are responsible for shipping orders and transmitting accurate tracking information to Buy.com within two business days of the order date. This process can be done manually or automatically via the CommerceInterface platform. LTL orders are allowed 10 business days.
- Products configured for LTL freight will be submitted to Buy.com as requiring seven days for shipping lead-time. LTL products are only allowed for the Home & Outdoor, Sports, and Toys & Baby categories.
- If you cannot meet the shipping deadline, you must notify Buy.com as quickly as possible so that Buy.com can communicate with the customer and cancel the order, if necessary. There is no fee for order cancellations.
- Failure to comply with Buy.com's marketplace terms and conditions including, but not limited to, consistent late shipments, frequent order cancelations due to lack of inventory, invalid tracking, and poor communication with the customers is cause for account termination.
Buy.com Returns Policy
After you have confirmed shipment of a product, you have the option to give either a full refund or a partial refund to a Buy.com customer. There is no limitation on the number of partial refunds but refunds cannot exceed the amount of the order. You can refund a customer's purchase up to 60 days after the order date. You are required to have a refund rate of 5% or less to remain active in the Buy.com marketplace.

Payment to Your Account
- Buy.com marketplace payment periods to suppliers close on Tuesdays. Payment will be sent Wednesday and you should receive funds in your bank account within three business days. If either day is a bank holiday, payment will be sent the following day.
- Please note that all new suppliers to Buy.com marketplace will have a 15-day review period. During this time you will not be paid for orders until they are confirmed as shipped and received with tracking details provided during the shipment confirmation process. If tracking does not show clear in the delivery account, payments will be placed on hold.
- Payments are made via ACH transfer and all suppliers in Buy.com's marketplace are required to have a valid US Bank account that will accept these payments. All orders marked as shipped and/or refunds made against orders during the pay period will be included in this payment. You must have a positive balance in your account to qualify for that payment period.
