SALT LAKE CITY, UT – AUGUST 15, 2011 – As the new Director of Sales and Business Development, Jason Utgaard will be in charge of helping suppliers seamlessly integrate their products using the CommerceInterface Web-based platform.  His responsibilities include working with existing suppliers to further develop their multi-channel online selling strategies, helping them expand their product lines into more categories and introducing new suppliers to the company’s state-of-the-art interface.

Utgaard is a former Merchandising Manager at O.co (previously Overstock.com) that understands how to synchronize supply-side business needs with online retail-side strengths. At O.co, he helped manufacturers to develop their product lines, and to determine what to sell and why. He is particularly astute at evaluating a supplier’s product offering and their main selling points.

“Now I’m kind of the middleman,” says Utgaard. “I know what each of the channels’ strengths are and can help suppliers become more efficient. It’s really about helping them find success on the different channels.”

“The CommerceInterface business model is solid. We have the most appealing fee structure and the largest network of channels—which is growing rapidly. Our Web-based interface is very user-friendly and allows suppliers to manage their business from one place. Plus, suppliers who like the Overstock.com channel like working with us because of our expertise and our complete integration into Overstock.com’s partner program – it’s a quick fit.”

The CommerceInterface network of channels is the most varied in the industry and gives suppliers many options for selling their products online. Utgaard guides them into knowing what to sell on which channel, and to often consider breaking into new channels. Best of the all, the easy-to-use interface provides real-time reporting so that suppliers know channel performance week over week, month over month.

“We are very pleased to add Jason to our team,” says Ivan Ramirez, CommerceInterface founder and president. “He brings great experience from the channel-side of the equation. For our business model to succeed, it’s important for Jason and our entire sales staff to not only attract customers, but to bring in the kind of customers whose products sell—our fees are based only on actual transactions. This model has been great for us. Most of our competitors charge high start-up fees, monthly fees and transaction fees, and customers call us every day wanting to move from that type of system. It’s a great testament to our people, our business model and our interface technology.”

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – JUNE 21, 2011 – After months of working to make the logistics seamless, CommerceInterface has introduced Amazon.com integration into its online inventory control system and fulfillment network. By expanding its group of e-commerce channels to include Amazon.com, CommerceInterface becomes a more complete solution for online sellers seeking to increase their business.

Amazon.com is coveted by manufacturers and distributors for the breadth of its marketplace, covering almost every possible product category and operating websites in eight countries. Through the CommerceInterface platform, online sellers can manage Amazon.com inventory transactions from start to finish, upload new products and gain critical business intelligence. Back end processes can be customized to maintain compliance with Amazon’s business policies and to interface with 3rd party shipping solutions.

CommerceInterface is head and shoulders above its competitors in its multi-channel, marketplace integration approach, developing an e-commerce network that includes Overstock.com, Buy.com, Eziba.com, Mertado Social Deals, Sears.com, UnbeatableSale.com, and now, Amazon.com, all served through a central platform. Specific attention is given to each channel’s process for product submissions, pricing, order fulfillment, returns management and more. Creating a master catalog, however, gives online sellers a quick and easy method for managing inventory and updating product attributes across all channels. Plus, sellers are able to track sales and process orders within a single workflow.

“If you are currently selling on Amazon, it only makes sense to pull your processes into the CommerceInterface platform,” says Ivan Ramirez, founder and president. “You’ll love how it helps you manage product inventory from one location, and keeps you on top of your orders. And if you’ve never sold through Amazon, we just made it easier to get started.”

The addition of Amazon.com channel management is certainly an advantage for CommerceInterface customers. When combined with niche product sites, members-only sites and other major retail sites, the mix of channels becomes a more expansive, more varied online sales venue.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT - JUNE 1, 2011 – “Promote our core values in a way that is most beneficial to our customers,” stated Ivan Ramirez, founder and president of CommerceInterface.  And with the culmination of four months of work, not only are the company values on display, but CommerceInterface, a leading e-commerce services channel management company, is showing off a new brand identity and a re-launch of its website.

The new brand identity for CommerceInterface is welcome by customers, partners and employees alike. It makes an otherwise technologically advanced company look even more dynamic, with a brighter color palette and an identifiable mark that implies motion or progression. The cleaner, more modern logotype is used to reinforce its innovation and knowledge-based platform. In brochures and collateral, and even more so on its new website, the CommerceInterface look and feel presents a company that is approachable, smart and responsive.

With a complete website makeover, CommerceInterface is increasing its online presence and introducing its performance-based model to a broader customer base. Rotating graphics and content on the site promote CommerceInterface’s expanding products and services. And the company’s core values and brand promise are expressly visible, although the most telling features of its customer-centric approach are the short video testimonials found on many Web pages.

New visitors to the site are able to navigate to various points of interest and leverage the company’s multichannel management expertise. Return customers are welcomed back with a convenient log in to the elegant, Web-based channel interface. This technology, that was almost three years in the making, is intuitive and focuses on business intelligence, rather than simply product integration. Sellers can track multi-channel processes through one central platform and manage their full sales cycle from start to finish.

CommerceInterface is also poised to take on longer established competitors—providing superior personal service and a larger e-commerce network that includes top-tier channels, such as Overstock.com, Sears.com, Amazon.com, Buy.com, and others. Dedicated pages on the new site feature each channel, explaining its advantages and the intricacies of its online marketplace. Overall, the company will certainly get noticed for looking and acting like the most sophisticated channel management solution.

With the introduction of its new brand identity and website, CommerceInterface takes its performance-based business model into the limelight. The look is unmistakable, the tone is knowledgeable and friendly, and mutual success is the end goal for the company and its customers.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – May 17, 2010 - CommerceInterface hires Vice President to assist in company’s growth and market position. Rob Christiansen joins CommerceInterface after having successfully sold Fourteen40, an electronic textbook company he co-founded, to Follett, Inc. Christiansen has managed development teams in the US, Ukraine, India, and China. His main role will be to provide easy-to-use technology for CommerceInterface’s suppliers, as well as expand the companies’ 3rd party and multichannel integrations.

"Rob’s experience in a startup environment and his ability to tackle big challenges is something we have been looking for. With his direction, we’re sure to take this company to the next level in the technology arena. Expanding our technology solutions and the ability to support multiple channels is how we will grow the company in the next few years," said Ivan Ramirez, CommerceInterface Founder & President.

"For the last three years we have been focused on quietly developing our business and technology with a small group of customers, and now those same customers are pushing us to support other channels, which will allow consolidation of their e-commerce distribution business into one central platform. Supporting these additional channels will be sure to bring us new customers, who would otherwise be reluctant to sell on channels like Overstock.com, due to lack of supporting multi-channel technology."
